December With Hobby Art

December With Hobby Art.
So it's my last post of Design Team samples for 2019. This month we have 3 new sets.

Village Post

I love coloring on kraft with my pencils as it gives a soft vintage look, This stamp set is perfect for creating the look.

The Robin and postbox on this card was water coloured  I added a die cut over the robin to give it an open frame effect, then the snowflakes and postbox were stamped and embossed with rangers detail silver powder.

The same stamp set was used for this next card, but I chose to colour the scene with alcohol pens, and changed the season by colouring the trees and grass. some patterned papers behind to finish off the card.

Neighbours

I made an Advent Book for Beckie, she's getting her new Puppy just after Christmas and I wanted to send her a little gift.
Coloured with alcohol pens.

I designed a mobile phone shaped card, and used this stamp set to create a picture to display on it.

Monster Birthday

What a fun set to use, you can literally go crazy with colour.
Z fold Card works well with the set and some patterned papers.

This card I used some oxide inks to create a soft stencilled background.

I Designed a chest of drawers as I thought it would be a cute idea to have the little monsters playing in the drawers, the bunting i made buy cutting out the spikes from one of the monsters.

Stepember 2019 Hobby Art Stuff

Hello all, can't believe Octobers just around the corner, this moth Autums in the air with the new stamp sets from Hobby Art.

British Wildlife

My first card is coloured with pencils, it must have taken me over 6 hours to colours in and the time just flew by.

Not something I've done before but here's a few snapshots of my progress when I was colouring.

From the same stamp set using the squirrel and mouse I made a little nut box, coloured with distress oxides.

I fancied making a pink rabbit so I did! watercolours on watercolour card.

Winter Woodland

Winter style coloured with promarkers I made a shaker box.

Autum Style, coloured with distress Oxides

Cottage Garden

Coloured with pencils simply layered to make an effective card.

I wanted to try a softer more vintage look so I stamped onto parchment and did a couple of layers.

August 2019 Hobby Art Christmas

August 2019 Hobby Art Christmas Samples, So this month we have two new stamp sets and some old favourites.

Snowman Bundle Bertie and Archie

These are some old favourites from hobby Art . The stamps are coloured with promarkers. I made the papers for the suitcase frames using stencils distress inks and luna paste. The straps  and buckles I designed myself on my scan and cut.

Dudley does Christmas

Such a a fun set and lovely to colour. I coloured my Dudley stamped images with  promarkers .

I designed a tree stencil and used this to make the trees in the background, I then stamped over the distress ink trees with the bauble from the stamp set. Next I stamped and coloured in my Dudley images and  cut them out. these were then positioned and glued onto the strip of the Z card.

I wanted to make a shaker card for next sample, so I designed a gift box shape on my scan and cut . I assembled it using some gold and silver sequin shapes, then used a couple of heart dies to add a sentiment and a robin to the card.

There are many Dudley images in the set and I thought a nice way to use them all in the same card was to make a waterfall card.

Floral Robin

This is a lovely set to use and the robin has some lovely detail if you like to colour.

this card was coloured with pencils i used embossing powder to make the snow and the background was stencilled very lightly with metallic inks.

I was really happy how clean and simple this card looks sticking to white and gold. the robin is embossed with gold embossing powder then I used the other robin tail to make some petals and made a flower using the snowflake for a centre. white glitter embossing powder was used to make a line of trees across the background of the card.

I thought the trees were lovely just on there own so using only the trees and snowflakes I stamped onto blue card and embossed with a white glitter . For a simple but effective card.

And finally I stamped a row of birds in different colour metallic ink over a stencilled background and added crowns for a quick and easy Birthday Card.
