August 2019 Hobby Art Christmas

August 2019 Hobby Art Christmas Samples, So this month we have two new stamp sets and some old favourites.

Snowman Bundle Bertie and Archie

These are some old favourites from hobby Art . The stamps are coloured with promarkers. I made the papers for the suitcase frames using stencils distress inks and luna paste. The straps  and buckles I designed myself on my scan and cut.

Dudley does Christmas

Such a a fun set and lovely to colour. I coloured my Dudley stamped images with  promarkers .

I designed a tree stencil and used this to make the trees in the background, I then stamped over the distress ink trees with the bauble from the stamp set. Next I stamped and coloured in my Dudley images and  cut them out. these were then positioned and glued onto the strip of the Z card.

I wanted to make a shaker card for next sample, so I designed a gift box shape on my scan and cut . I assembled it using some gold and silver sequin shapes, then used a couple of heart dies to add a sentiment and a robin to the card.

There are many Dudley images in the set and I thought a nice way to use them all in the same card was to make a waterfall card.

Floral Robin

This is a lovely set to use and the robin has some lovely detail if you like to colour.

this card was coloured with pencils i used embossing powder to make the snow and the background was stencilled very lightly with metallic inks.

I was really happy how clean and simple this card looks sticking to white and gold. the robin is embossed with gold embossing powder then I used the other robin tail to make some petals and made a flower using the snowflake for a centre. white glitter embossing powder was used to make a line of trees across the background of the card.

I thought the trees were lovely just on there own so using only the trees and snowflakes I stamped onto blue card and embossed with a white glitter . For a simple but effective card.

And finally I stamped a row of birds in different colour metallic ink over a stencilled background and added crowns for a quick and easy Birthday Card.
