Oddball Art Co Blog April reminder Post

Well I'm really enjoying having an art journal, for the reminder I've done a page using the Image

for this page I sprayed the background with some inks then i used the Tim Holtz  Harlequin stencil and some picket fence distress ink.

I cut out the tattered lace die several times in silver mirror card and placed them around the main image. then using some stickles I randomly filled in some of the circles then stuck on some of the cut out die onto the page. then finally I made a simple flower and coloured it with the same background inks I used adding a little stickles. simple but quite effective I Think :)

New Hobby Art Releases

This Month there are lots of lovely new stamp sets from Hobby Art Ltd

The first sample I made was a coaster using the Peonies  stamp set .
I used the largest stamp from the set and set it in the corner , stamped in the sentiment, then i stamped and embossed the border in silver. I used some distress ink on the background then coloured in the flower with sparkle pens. finally I used versamark around the edges and added some blue glitter embossing powder around the edges. I gave it a couple of coats of modpodge to seal it letting it dry thoroughly between coats.

Next we have the Very useful Numbers Set
For this next sample I stamped a balloon background using the balloon stamp from the
Thinking-of-Ewe set. and coloured with sparkle pens. Then made a couple of toppers with the numbers set.

Next we have the  fun Dinosaurs set.
I made 2 projects with this one. first I made a jigsaw puzzle gift.

My second sample is a 3 tier pull up card I also used the numbers set as they work really well together.

Hello it's Reminder Time again for the Oddball Art co Blog Challenge

I made a couple of art journal pages this month, was inspired by the wonderful image from Lizzy Canadian Oddball Girl

Thought It would be fun to still play with our Rainbow theme, then balance out the riot of colour with some grey! Actually grey is one of my favourite colours.

Chasing Rainbows

New Challenge Time at  Oddball Art Co Blog  The Theme for this Month is Watchin' Rainbows. So plenty of scope to use lots of colours.

Coloured with promarkers, I added some spray and sparkle to the background layer for some extra shine, and in total contrast to all the colour I went for a white flower as some embellishment with clear glitter.
